Open in 2013 by Tony Vallone (of Tony’s and Ciao Bello), Vallone's is an upscale chophouse that draws steak lovers to its modern, bi-level space cornered by a visible, lofty wine room, lined floor-to-ceiling with bottles. Prime steaks – some dry-aged for 55 days – center the menu but there is also the likes of colossal crab cakes accented by Creole mustard and tangerine reduction, Colorado lamb chops in rosemary jus, and housemade pastas, like corn raviolini with Texas corn in sage truffle essence. The extensive wine list is heavy on Californian and Italian wines, while the cocktail menu includes drinks like Spicy Annabella (pisco, Ferrand Dry Curacao, lime juice, simple syrup, spices, orange juice, herb salted rim).
