California-focused cuisine is the cornerstone of Kali, an elegant Larchmont Village restaurant with an understated decor of tan leather banquettes and rustic wood table tops. From the kitchen of chef/co-owner Kevin Meehan, dishes highlight seasonal, local ingredients in changing dishes like wheat berry risotto with black garlic and toasted cheese, charred avocado with shaved vegetables and pistachios or herb-crusted cod with brandade potatoes. Co-owner/beverage director Drew Langley crafts a cocktail menu showcasing California-made spirits in drinks like the Vangelis (St. George Terroir Gin, cherry vanilla shrub, lemon, egg white) as well as French and Californian wines.
