Etoile Cuisine et Bar was opened by chef-owner Philippe Verpiand and Monica Bui, formerly of San Diego's beloved Cavaillon. They have honed a traditional French menu of classics like coq au vin as well as seasonal menus featuring dishes like poitrine de veau farcie (braised stuffed veal brisket). Whitewashed brick walls, chandeliers and comfy chairs warm up the intimate dining room.
