Table8 is a reservation app and website that lets you discover and book amazing dining experiences—when and where you want. We team up with hundreds of the most celebrated restaurants in the industry to offer tables at peak, sold-out times, from one month out to day-of reservations. Join the Table8 Dining Club for all-inclusive access to dining recommendations, members-only gold reservations, exclusive invitations to special culinary happenings, advance access and discounts at select chef events, waitlist priority seating and more.

How does Table8 work?

Our web and app-based restaurant guide helps you to discover and book exceptional dining in food cities across the US. You give us your city, party size, date and time preferences, and we’ll show you a curated list of outstanding dining recommendations nearby. Restaurant listings feature a description, photos, and a Table8 rating to make it easier to choose. And of course, links for easy booking! Join the Table8 Dining Club for all-inclusive access to restaurants and events (including prime-time, “gold” reservations at our partner restaurants) or browse and reserve as you go.

What is the Table8 Dining Club?

Joining the Table8 Dining Club is a great way to make the most of all Table8 has to offer. Members pay an annual fee for all-inclusive access to dining recommendations, all Table8 reservations (including prime-time, "gold" reservations), invites to one-of- a-kind chef events, early access and discounted pricing at select culinary happenings, priority seating at waitlist only restaurants, and other VIP perks.

If I am not a Dining Club member can I still book reservations?

Absolutely. As a non-member, you can browse all Table8 dining recommendations and book any table not listed in gold (gold reservations, set aside for Table8 by our partner restaurants, are for members only). Non-members are also welcome to book any chef event not listed as ‘members-only,’ but will pay full price (as member discounts will not apply).

I’d like to give a membership as a gift. How does that work?

To give a gift, visit Gifts/Give a Gift on the top menu of the homepage or click here. The lucky recipient will receive a gift email with a code, good for one year of membership to the Table8 Dining Club. You’ll earn props in the gift-giving department.

I received a Table8 Membership as a gift. How do I redeem it?

First of all, welcome! You’re in for a delicious year. To redeem your gift, visit Gifts/I Received a Gift on the top menu of the homepage or click here. Enter your gift code and account set-up information and you’re all set. Bon Appetit!

What are Gift Codes for Membership?

A gift code is a code good for one year of membership in the Table8 Dining Club. When you gift (or are gifted) a membership, the code arrives by email. Once it’s entered on the Table8 website or app (along with account set-up information), the membership is active.

What are Promo Codes for Membership?

Promo codes are unique codes that translate to discounts on membership or special events. If you receive a promo code — lucky you — you’ll get a specific description of its value.

Will my Membership Auto Renew?

After your first year of membership is up, you’ll have the option to set up auto renew and lock in your initial membership pricing. We’ll let you know when it’s time to consider your options.

 

Restaurant Reservations – General

How often are new tables added?

We add new tables every day. In fact, we probably added a few while you were reading this. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, keep checking back!

What if I have a large party?

If your party is larger than the party size options listed for a restaurant, feel free to email us or call +1(415) 688-7102. We may be able to work with the restaurant to accommodate your request. We can often facilitate private dining events at our restaurants as well.

How late can I make a reservation?

Depending on the restaurant, you can make a reservation anywhere from one to two months out to several hours before the desired time.

Why am I asked for my credit card information to book certain reservations?

Restaurants often require a credit card to hold a reservation. While there is no fee to hold the reservation, a restaurant may charge your card to cover their fees in the case of a no-show or last-minute cancellation. You can contact the restaurant directly with questions regarding their cancellation and no-show policies.

Can I cancel a reservation?

We understand that plans can change at the eleventh hour (we're in the business of last-minute!). To cancel a reservation, please go to the "my reservations" section in your account, find the reservation you wish to cancel and click "cancel reservation."  Please note that in some cases, restaurants may charge an additional fee for cancellations or no-shows. We will be sure to provide you with this information before you make your purchase.

Can I make any changes after making a reservation?

We’re all about flour power and embracing change (we’re based in San Francisco after all) but we’re not always able to accommodate changes to a booking. If you have questions about your reservation, please email us or call +1(415) 688-7102. We will do our best to help.

How do I make my dietary preferences known to the restaurant?

To indicate any dietary restrictions or make special requests, please fill out the  “note for the restaurant” field at checkout.

Special Events

What kind of special events do you offer?

Our events (which are typically ticketed) include special menu tastings, chef collaborations, not-to-be-missed pop-ups, and more!

If something comes up and I can’t make a special event, do you offer a refund?

Ticket purchases are non-refundable. However, if you can't make an event, you can make someone else's day—reservations are transferable. If you'd like to transfer your tickets, please email us.

What do I get with my event ticket?

Each event is unique, and so is each ticket. Please read the details for your event carefully. Many, but not all, include food, beverages, tax, and gratuity.

How many people can I bring to an event at membership pricing?

You can purchase tickets for any party size that’s available, though the Table8 Dining Club member does need to be present at the event. We are only able to accommodate one set of tickets per evening.
